Usually the simple versions of Flow Pack machines have one film reel axis. That means when the film runs out machine has to stop for the operator to change the film reel. Therefore these machines are not suitable in production flows where nonstop operations are necessary.
In order to surpass this problem we have designed and manufactured a horizontal packaging machine Flow Pack EFP FS DR with two film reel axes and a splicer mechanism to automatically switch from one film reel to another when one runs out, thus enabling nonstop machine operation.
This machine integrates four servo driven motors for controlling machine’s main motion axes – infeed conveyor, film infeed, longitudinal sealing wheels and transversal sealing crimps – as well as touch screen functionality for setting machine’s parameters. It is manufactured with two jaws size, 150mm for small size products and 180mm for small and medium size products.
Sturdy construction, long life duration, reliability and ergonomic design are the main characteristics of this machine. All packaging parameters are easily adjusted from machine control panel and it is very easy and fast to change from one product settings to another.
