Description
The Smart Flow automatic infeed line is a dynamic and advanced system designed for the continuous and precise feeding of products into a horizontal Flow Pack packaging machine.
Its operation is based on smart belts technology, a series of conveyor belts that enables synchronization with the production flow and the operation of the packaging machine.
The Smart Flow automatic infeed line performs the following operations:
- Receives the products from the previous conveying line and controls their position upon entering the feeding system
- Minimizes the gap between the products
- Forms the appropriate distance between products, according to the infeed flight of the pushers of the Flow Pack packaging machine
- Places the products onto the infeed conveyor of the Flow Pack machine
The position and speed of the products are detected in real time by photocells, while each smart belt is driven by a high-precision servo motor ensuring perfectly synchronized feeding.
The number and length of the smart belts are determined by the product dimensions and production speed, while the Smart Flow feeder can be installed either in line with or perpendicular to the infeed conveyor of the Flow Pack machine.
